Dry carpet cleaning methods are also available for use. Traditionally, there is a powder available to sprinkle on the carpets. The powder supposedly sits, and when it is vacuumed, the dirt is gone too. Unfortunately, you usually just get a lot of powder on your carpet, and a lot of the dirt's still there too.
